E-Commerce & Sales Manager – International Company

About the Role
As the E-Commerce & Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the company’s online sales strategy. Your primary objective will be to optimize online revenue streams, enhance the customer experience, and maximize profitability across all digital channels.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing the e-commerce strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives, and ensuring consistent growth across all online platforms. This includes managing all aspects of online sales channels — from pricing, product listings, and promotions to the overall user experience. Your role will also involve driving sales funnel optimization and conversion rate improvements to ensure the company is maximizing every opportunity across its digital platforms.
Collaboration will be key, as you will work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute performance-driven campaigns aimed at driving traffic, increasing conversion rates, and maximizing return on investment. In addition, you will track and analyze key e-commerce metrics, including Gross Merchandise Value (GMV), conversion rate, repeat purchase, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and retention rates, using these insights to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
A critical component of this role is the management of daily marketplace operations, ensuring accurate product information, stock availability, and smooth order fulfillment. You will lead a dedicated team, including a Marketplace Coordinator and a CRM Specialist, to deliver a seamless online customer experience and provide support across all digital sales channels.
Furthermore, you will coordinate with Supply Chain and Finance teams to ensure efficient logistics, accurate reporting, and on-time delivery of all orders. Leveraging tools like Odoo ERP and other analytics platforms, you will provide accurate reporting, forecast trends, and monitor performance to maintain the highest standards of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the company’s e-commerce and online sales strategy.

Manage all online sales channels, including pricing, product listings, and promotions.

Optimize the sales funnel and improve conversion rates across all platforms.

Collaborate with marketing to execute campaigns that drive traffic, sales, and ROI.

Track and analyze key performance metrics: GMV, conversion rate, repeat purchase, CAC, and retention.

Supervise daily marketplace operations, ensuring accurate product data, stock levels, and smooth order processing.

Lead and mentor a team of Marketplace Coordinator and CRM Specialist to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Coordinate with Supply Chain and Finance for order fulfillment, logistics, and reporting accuracy.

Utilize Odoo ERP and analytics tools for performance tracking, reporting, and forecasting.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and sales growth.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

7–10 years of proven experience in FMCG or e-commerce sales management.

Strong understanding of digital commerce platforms and online consumer behavior.

Hands-on experience with platforms such as Amazon Seller Central, Jumia, and other e-commerce tools.

Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Odoo, for sales tracking, reporting, and forecasting.

Commercially focused with strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
