About the Role

As an Energy Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive energy audits, analyzing data, and developing actionable strategies to improve energy performance across a variety of facilities. Your work will directly support the company’s mission of enhancing operational efficiency, reducing environmental impact, and achieving energy savings.

This role requires both technical expertise and strong analytical skills. You will be responsible for creating and validating Investment Grade Audit (IGA) reports in accordance with ASHRAE Level I, II, and III standards, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective energy-saving measures.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the engineering team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Energy Audits: Plan and conduct detailed energy audits of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and building envelopes, ensuring compliance with ASHRAE standards.

• Data Analysis: Gather and analyze historical energy consumption data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for energy savings.

• Reporting: Create, write, review, and validate Investment Grade Audit (IGA) reports, presenting clear findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.

• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and practical energy efficiency solutions tailored to each facility’s needs.

• Technical Guidance: Provide expert technical support to project teams, ensuring alignment with energy efficiency goals and sustainability objectives.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and global best practices to recommend new solutions and improvements.

Job Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a passion for energy efficiency and a proven track record of delivering results. The ideal candidate should have:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in energy engineering, energy auditing, or a closely related field.

• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with ASHRAE standards (Levels I, II, and III) and proven experience in completing energy audits and preparing high-quality technical reports.

• Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

  • Strong presentation skills for communicating technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

• Additional Expertise: Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and their integration into building systems is highly desirable.

• Certifications: Professional credentials such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) are considered a strong plus.

• Language: Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
