Job description:
• Analyzing consumers’ behavior, market trends, products seasonality and political landscape in relevant markets to support trading decisions.
• Studying the addition of new commodities to the current trade portfolio through extensive analysis and due diligence to assess the profitability of the opportunity.
• Making buying and selling decisions based on forecasted economic trends or arbitrage opportunities in the commodities markets.
• Managing commodity risks and oversees transportation logistics from origin to destination along with the support of trade execution department to maximize revenues.
• Considering freight costs, inflation rates, exchange rates and other possible fluctuations while closing trade deals.

Qualifications:
• From 3 to 5 years of experience as commodities trading, investment banking, financial institutions or related fields.
• Engineering or economics major.
• Ability to design forecasting models, financial analysis, market analysis, etc.
• Strong understanding of macroeconomics.
• Ability to analyze data and identify market trends and drivers.
