Job Description:
– Support VMware products deployed in customer networks such as ESXi, vSpere, vCenter, NSX, NSX for vSphere, Horizon DaaS, Workspace One, and Workspace One UEM Console.
– Troubleshooting.
– Configuration.
– Analyzing and evaluating devices to ensure devices are configured to operate at optimal performance.
– Document the procedure performed to configure and troubleshoot for further reference.
– Effective engagement with customers (written & verbal) while ensuring Customer Satisfaction.
– Execute complex Service Activities, Remote Support, and Optimization.
– Subject Matter Expert in the technology domain. Review End to end delivery, Interoperability, and Design.
Education:
– Bachelor’s degree.
Years of experience:
– Experience: 1 year to 10 years.
Job Requirements:
– Certifications: VCA/VCTA – VMware Certified Technical Associate.
– ESXi/Vsphere o Basic technology understanding, Configuration, and troubleshooting of the following platforms:
o ESXI installation, Configuration.
o ESXi/Vsphere networking (Standard & Distributed switches)
o VM creation/deployment and use features such as Vmotion and manage Snapshots.
o Configuration of ISCSI/SAN configuration in ESXI host and know the basics of VSAN.
o vCenter Server Architecture, Installation, and Management.
o Understanding of Vsphere HA, FT, and DRS in a cluster.
o vSphere Update Manager and Host Maintenance.
– Any experience with Hyper-V, Xenserver, or KVM.
– Horizon DaaS.
o Fundamentals Of ESXi, Vsphere.
o VMware Horizon Desktops: Create Windows and Linux VMs.
o VMware Horizon Agent, VMware Horizon Pools.
o Create and Manage Instant-Clone Desktop Pools.
o Workspace ONE Access and Virtual Application Management.
o Horizon Protocols: Knowledge about BLAST protocol.
o Horizon Security: Secure/Use Horizon connections, Using Unified Access Gateway.
– Any Experience with Citrix XenDesktop, XenApp.
