Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Production Engineer, you will play a vital role in overseeing daily operations within the Extraction Plant, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all production activities. You’ll be responsible for monitoring processes, maintaining equipment performance, and enforcing safety and quality measures to guarantee flawless production outcomes.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Operating and supervising the Extraction process on a daily shift basis while ensuring compliance with safety, food safety, and environmental standards.

• Executing shutdowns and process changes efficiently through proper procedures and management systems.

• Collaborating with supervisors to identify and resolve process problems while suggesting innovative improvements for productivity and safety.

• Conducting regular plant tours to perform inspections, critical path checks, and ensure all machinery and systems are running optimally.

• Supporting maintenance and engineering teams by reporting faults and participating actively in predictive and reliability-based maintenance approaches.

• Using technical expertise to enhance process efficiency, troubleshoot production issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Documenting operations accurately, including filling in run sheets, logging safety and environmental issues, and adhering to all documentation and reporting procedures.

• Ensuring compliance with corporate health and safety policies, proactively identifying risks, and promoting a culture of safety across all teams.

• Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence outcomes.
